The Surf Hotel & Wesley & Rose are presenting a one-of-a-kind Wine, Food & Music Collaboration. Musician & trained chef David Lawrence is joining forces with Surf Hotel & Asian Palate to produce a curated Indian-inspired feast which will be paired with world-class winery Klinker Brick Winery. This special wine-pairing dinner will be capped off with a live concert featuring David Lawrence & the Spoonful.
ABOUT DAVID LAWRENCE & THE SPOONFUL:
Guitarist and Songwriter David Lawrence spent his early 20's traveling throughout India and studied Indian Cuisine at one of the subcontinent's most prestigious Culinary schools, The Culinary Academy of India. After a Decade as a professional Chef, David moved on to his other passion, music. Since then David has started several successful projects including Django-inspired 'LAPOMPE' New Orleans 'Royal Street Ramblers' & most recently David Lawrence & the Spoonful. Their debut album 'Lean In' released Oct. 22' featured a wave of accolades and radio play, including 5280 Magazine, Westword, 303 Magazine and many more.
