ABOUT DAVID TIPTON:

Salida based musician David Tipton is one of a small group of nationally  recognized artists performing on the unique stringed instrument called the  Chapman Stick. He performs regularly throughout Colorado for a wide  variety of venues and events.  

The extended range of the instrument and two handed tapping technique  allows him to play rich sounding arrangements of original and popular  tunes, new & old. His latest CD “Memento” features classic rock tunes  performed on the Chapman Stick. Come discover this uncommon  instrument and let yourself be carried away by its enchanting sound.  Ten fingers, twelve strings, you won’t believe it’s just one person playing!
