Don’t miss the Coletrain Music Academy All-Star concert Wednesday, June 15th! This FREE show is a part of our community concert series on The LAWN and will feature CMA instructors and students alike! Artists include renowned bluegrass shredders Coleman Smith and Alex Johnstone of Rapidgrass; Rhythm and blues extraordinaire David Lawrence of David Lawrence & The Spoonful, the one-and-only Gary Sloan of the Royal Street Ramblers, spectacular singer and songwriter Bonnie Lea Culpepper, and newcomer Kathryn Phillips!
Concert Beneficiary: One of the components of this free summer concert series is to support organizations that are making an impact in Chaffee County. The CMA All-Stars concert will shine a light on elevateHER, a Chaffee County-based non-profit that empowers girls through outdoor adventure. The elevateHER mission is to foster self-worth and grit in young women through mentoring, outdoor adventure, and holistic wellness programs. This organization will be present at this show to educate attendees on their initiatives. Any donations collected on this evening will go directly to elevateHER.
ABOUT COLETRAIN MUSIC ACADEMY: Coletrain Music Academy (CMA) is so much more than a service or product; it’s an essential player in the fine arts community that has reached students and inspired musicians on a global level. CMA offers the Chaffee County community and its surrounding areas the finest in music education. Their faculty offers private in-person and virtual lessons for beginner students to advanced on a wide variety of instruments both acoustic and electric. CMA caters their well-rounded, results-driven curriculum to suit the age and desired skillsets of each individual in order to maximize their learning potential. Through private and skype lessons, annual workshops, and online e-lessons, they are able to reach a wide demographic of both budding and established musicians.
