Rachael Gardner

Wedding Coordinator

Rachael Gardner is originally from the Thousand Islands area of Northern New York. After graduating college with a bachelors degree in business administration, she was lucky enough to apply and receive a job managing the Surf Chateau. With no prior knowledge of Buena Vista or Colorado at all, she packed up all of her belongings and moved across the country in 2015. She has been with South Main since that time, and has worn many different hats within the company, from front desk, to housekeeping, to bartender, and even occasional maintenance. 

Rachael continues to help manage day- to day hotel operations, but her current title is the head of event sales at the Surf Hotel. She played a key role in developing and growing the hotel's group sales and wedding business- and was even lucky enough to be one of the first people to get married at the hotel in 2018. 

When she's not busy talking to brides and making wedding magic happen, Rachael enjoys spending time with her husband and two huskies. She's always down for a new adventure, and her favorite activities are fishing, hiking, exploring, boating, and going to festivals.
