After spending more than six years traveling the world as a professional whitewater kayaker, Andre decided to put down roots in Buena Vista, CO to pursue a career in real estate sales and development. He represented our country on the world stage three times as a member of the U.S. Freestyle Team, and won the bronze medal for freestyle in 2004. As a top-level competitor, Andre achieved success through drive, discipline and tenacity – traits that continue to serve him well in his role as Chief Financial Officer of South Main.

Andre joined South Main Development in 2004 and currently serves as CFO of the organization’s real estate development, construction and property management divisions. He is also Managing Broker and co-owner of our hospitality and real estate brokerage division, South Main Realty. His financial and operations management style was instrumental in earning the Surf Chateau, South Main’s first boutique hotel, the 2015 Colorado Lending Source Small Business Excellence Award. From negotiating real estate acquisitions to welcoming guests at the hotel’s front desk, Andre is a team player whose can-do attitude inspires those around him. His unique skillset has helped South Main Development create a beautiful, vibrant neighborhood that’s built to be loved for generations.

Outside of work, Andre continues to hold his own on the extreme kayak racing scene, and routinely paddles some of the most difficult whitewater in the state. He is also an avid rock climber and an aspiring kiteboarder, and he is always plotting his next adventure. Andre lives in South Main with his wife, a gifted jewelry maker who has taught undergraduate art courses at Colorado State University, and their dog Zimmer.
